Stay positive!

In today's hectic life, we are bound to face lots of problems. This will inevitably drag us down. So, what do we do? Do we just throw in the towel and wallow in our self-pity?

Of course not!

Here are some tips on being positive:

1. Remember that God always gives us a challenge which He knows we can handle. It's just a state of mind! If we believe that we can solve our problems in the best way possible, of course God willing, we can! Be closer to God and pray hard for His guidance in whatever you do.

2. Always remember that somewhere out there, there are people who have harder challenges that you do. Try to keep things in perspective and whatever you do, don't panic!

3. Try to channel your negative thoughts in a more productive way. Maybe you can write down your thoughts in a journal, do something active because it'll make you feel less restless, be around positive-minded people and do any other activity which you think might benefit you.

4. Try to talk with others, especially those whom you trust. When you talk things through with your close friend(s), you'll feel as if a burden has been lifted off your shoulders! Don't keep to yourself or else you'll be a walking time bomb, just waiting to explode! Boom!

5. Take one day at a time. Try not to be overwhelmed with your current situation.

Appreciate yourself, women!

A lot of women out there do not realise their own self-worth. This inevitably leads to a lot of negative consequences for the women themselves.

Some of the causes why women do not realise their self-worth are due to several reasons:
1. They lack confidence
2. They had undergone a bad and traumatic experience
3. They had no family support, love and attention
4. If they are married, their spouse doesn't give them any encouragement
5. They lack the knowledge that they have rights of their own
6. They lack the awareness to stand up and defend their rights
7. They don't realise their true potential

However, don't worry!

To any problem, there is a solution!!
I think that all women should
1. have a good support system that includes a good and supportive family, friends and colleagues
2. really, really think about their situation and change!!!
3. ask themselves if they are happy with their current situation and deal with the problem, head on!
4. make gradual changes to their lives
5. realise that they too have their own strengths and should focus on them instead of focusing on their weaknesses
6. also count their blessings and remember that behind every cloud there is a silver lining
7. defend their rights and self-esteem if they feel they are being bullied or taken advantage of.
8. remember that having good self-esteem is a long-term process because everyone has their ups and downs. When we feel down, this is a crucial time for us to stay strong and not to merely surrender our self-esteem to be trampled on by others!!

Do you agree? Do you have any opinion on this matter?
